Q. I am happy with my current Telstra/Optus home line plan and want to continue with it. Will you match it?

A.  Yes. We price match most mainstream offerings by Telstra and Optus and then we go that extra mile, providing 10% of your call-spend to a Planetplan anti-climate change program. Cap plans are so tight that we can only go without 5% to reduce your carbon footprint.
Q. What effect would I be having on my carbon footprint?

A. If you are the average Australian you are the cause of approximate 25 tonnes of Co2 equivalent gas per year. If your call-spend is around $100 per month - that's about 3 trees. To determine the reduction please refer to our tree planting partners at their

Q. How do contributions from mobile, landline and internet plans vary?

A. Mobile: Money equal to 10 % of your monthly GST exclusive call-spend is sent to the Planetplan anti-climate change program of your choice.
Landline: Money equal to 10% of the GST exclusive monthly phone calls (excluding line rental, call directory calls and premium services 19XX because we pay the same for these “pass through” costs as you do) is sent to the Planetplan anti-climate change program of your choice.
Internet: Money equal to 5 % of the GST exclusive monthly bill is sent to the Planetplan anti-climate change program of your choice.

Q. How can Planetplan afford to use 10% of my call-spend on these environmental pursuits?

A. We believe all business should be green! Especially if there is room to do so..

 

Q. Why should I change from Telstra or Optus to Planetplan?

A.Planetplan is actually powered by the Telstra and Optus networks so you'll receive the same first rate product but you do the right thing by the environment using us.

Q. Is my money safe?

A. Yes. You will be able to independently track your funds directly with your chosen anti-climate change program through a unique account number. To verify your phone bill statement matches the funds your anti-climate change program received from your account all you have to do is call them, quoting your account number.
Your Planetplan bill will also show how much money you have contributed to your chosen anti-climate change program.


Q. I’m not with Telstra or Optus, is your service relevant to me?

A. We can accommodate all phone users.


Q. I have a hand set that needs to be paid off. Will Planetplan pay out my contract?

A. In most reasonable cases, yes. *

 

Q. Does Planetplan do pre-paid accounts.

A. Not at this stage, although we have SIM only contract plans which are even better value.
